Internship Summary:

 

The purpose of my internship was to provide a series of professional development sessions to educators in the East Stroudsburg Area School District.  The topic of these sessions was Google Chromebooks and Google Apps.  

 

The district is on a 4-year plan to become one-to-one with chromebooks with every student in the district.  With this massive undertaking comes the struggle of getting teachers to actually use these devices in the classroom.  The "Chromebook Academy" was developed in order to give teachers the training needed to effectively use chromebooks and google apps in their classroom.  

 

This internship provided me with many valuable experiences, including being able to design and teach adult learners in a professional atmosphere.  I found the project to be challenging in some areas, but also rewarding when teachers found success using a new technology tool.
